Our Story
The Flamini family, our family, has lived on this land since 1800.
As children, we watched our grandparents Elvezio and Linetta tend the olive trees, vines, crops, and woods.
In 2015, we launched our farm, “Il Poggio di Saragano,” with the goal of increasing olive oil production, wine production, truffle cultivation, beekeeping, and the cultivation of legumes and fresh vegetables.
The farm covers approximately 14 hectares and is located on a hill near the ancient village of Saragano, in the municipality of Gualdo Cattaneo.
In this hilly area, part of the Colli Martani district, we have traditional olive groves with Moraiolo, Frantoio, Leccino, San Felice and other cultivars, with an automated irrigation system that draws water from our pond.
The traditions passed down from our grandparents and the lands tended with them have given life to this company, which combines tradition and modernity in the production, processing, and marketing of our products.
At the beginning of the business we managed 1200 olive trees. Today we have approximately 4,000 plants and have embarked on a journey to transform the company from conventional to fully organic, creating high-quality organic oils, suitable for the most delicate palates, and others that convey strong emotions and aromas, derived from single-variety Moraiolo and Leccino olives.
The family believed in this project to transform and develop the company, contributing with work and substantial financial investments.
We expanded the agritourism facility and boosted the promotion of the production, processing, and marketing of our products.
Come and visit us, we’re waiting for you.
